Friends Week

This week in our class we will focus on what it means to be a friend and how we can be the best friend we can!

We practiced using glue bottles today and made a name collage with rainbow colors.

For math time, we practiced rolling our number cubes and matching our numbers.

It was Miss Stephanie's birthday celebration so we ate pink cupcakes and enjoyed pink balloons.

Our homework folders went home today and we were all very excited to have them :)

Happy First Week of Kindergarten!

It was a great Friday!
We had a super day. Our first snack shop went awesome and we were totally excited.
We did some more work with upper and lower case letters and made a project about our names.

Snack Shop Tomorrow

Our very first snack shop will begin tomorrow! Students may purchase one snack (50 cents) and one drink (50 cents). We will eat our snack shop for our morning snack.

Today we learned about upper and lower case letters and read Chick Chicka Boom Boom. 

 

We had fun reading Llama Llama Mad at Mama and talked about how we don't want to have any kindergarten drama :)
We introduced out Drama Llama who will be hanging up in our class. If you have any drama, save it for the llama!

Scissors and glue sticks and reading... Oh My!

We had so many exciting things today. Where to start...
We had our first chapel and did a great job! Pastor Stueve lead us and we learned about our theme bible verse this year "Shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life." Philippians 2:15-16
We successfully used scissors and were officially titles Scissor Stars :)
We learned the right way to use our glue sticks and sorted things that are in our room.
We are very proud of our achievements as we "read" Pete Loves Colors. We are awesome!

Pete the Cat Lost His Shoes!

We had another fun day! We learned about our campus and who works here by going on a hunt to help Pete the Cat find his shoes! Enjoy our adventure and see you all tonight at 7:00pm in the church.

First Day Hooray!

We had a SUPER first day!
We learned about our class and the rules and made a special project to help us remember our first day of Kindergarten!
We completed our twitter board as everyone tweeted about their first day.
Everyone should sleep real good tonight ;)
